Redmi 10 Prime Plus spotted on Geekbench, India launch soon

Xiaomi is likely to launch a new smartphone in India soon as a new Redmi smartphone has been discovered on the Geekbench revealing its key specs. Xiaomi is expected to launch the Redmi 10 Prime Plus within the next few weeks. 

Alleged Redmi 10 Prime Plus 5G spotted on benchmarking site Geekbench with the model number 22041219I. A report claims the Redmi 10 Prime+ will be a rebadged version of the Redmi Note 11E 5G smartphone that was launched earlier this year in China. 

According to the listing, it will run on Android 12 OS, topped with MIUI 13 custom skin. The model tested on the Geekbench also has 4GB RAM. However, there might be other options at launch. This handset uses the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. Based on its listing, the Redmi 10 Prime+ scored 198 in the single-core test and 1179 multiple-core test.

There is no word yet on storage options, but we expect the company to offer 64GB and 128GB storage models. The listing indicates the launch may be imminent.

Redmi Note 11E specifications

Redmi Note 11E houses a 6.48-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, up to 600nits brightness, and 240Hz touch sampling rate. 

The device is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor along with the Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It has up to 6GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage that can be expanded with a microSD card. 

Software-wise, the handset ships with Android 11-based MIUI 13 skin out of the box. The device comes with a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging. 

The device is equipped with 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, GPS, USB Type-C port, and Bluetooth 5.0. There is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security, Hi-Res audio, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It measures 163.99×76.09×8.9mm and weighs 200 grams.
