Xiaomi‘s spin-off brand Redmi has announced the launch of a new budget smartphone, Redmi 10 in India. The company has confirmed the launch of the Redmi 10 smartphone in the country on March 17. Redmi has also revealed some of the key specifications of the Redmi 10 ahead of its launch.

Upon its launch, the device will be available for purchase through Flipkart in India. According to the teaser on Flipkart, the Redmi 10 will be powered by a Snapdragon processor. The device may feature Snapdragon 680 4G processor, which was recently released. 

According to the teaser, the phone will also have a water-drop display at the top. We expect the screen to be an IPS LCD. The chin bezel will be quite thick compared to the top and the sides. The size of the screen is still unknown. 

The phone will be equipped with a dual-camera setup on its back. The text on the camera module indicates that the phone includes a 50MP primary camera. The depth sensor is likely to be 2MP. There is a LED flash inside the camera module as well.

Furthermore, the microsite indicates that the phone will have a “massive battery” that supports fast charging. It is expected to pack a 5000 mAh battery. The device will also feature a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and runs MIUI 13 layer out of the box. The rest of the phone’s specifications are unclear.
