Realme’s First-ever 5G Smartphone Details Revealed

Realme already revealed that the company’s first 5G smartphone will launch in next year. Now, the company has revealed that Realme’s first-ever 5G smartphone will be dubbed the Realme X50 5G.

In a Weibo post, Realme China’s CMO Xu Qi Chase has confirmed that Realme will launch the X50 5G device in China soon. The post comes with a poster which reveals that the Realme X50 5G phone will come with support for dual-mode 5G which means support for Standalone (SA) and Non-Standalone (NSA) modes.

Based on the shared image, Realme X50 will feature a punch-hole display. The punch-hole is located on the top-left corner of the display and it houses two front-facing camera sensors. According to the previous report, Realme will launch its first smartphone powered by Qualcomm integrated-5G SoC.

Apart from these details, the company has not revealed anything related to this upcoming smartphone. Since the announcement is made in China at the moment, the Realme 5G smartphone will likely to be announced in the Chinese market first. Considering price of the other phones from the brand, this could be the most affordable 5G smartphone next year.

We are still far away from an exact launch date for the Realme X50 5G. But, we can assume that the Realme X50 5G will compete against the Redmi K30 5G which is also confirmed to have a similar display design. It is worth to mention that the Xiaomi’s Redmi K30 5G will be launching in December this year. Unfortunately, Realme hasn’t provided any specifications about the upcoming Realme X50 5G.
