Realme XT Official Teaser, Specifications REVEALED

After launching the Realme X and Realme 5 series in India recently, the company is all set to launch Realme XT in home-country China on September 4. Now, ahead of the launch, the official details of the phone have surfaced on China’s micro-blogging site Weibo. Realme is yet to reveal a launch date for Realme XT in India, however, it is expected to become official next month as teased by the company’s India CEO Madhav Sheth at the Realme 5 launch event.

Realme’s CMO, Xu Qi Chase shared on Weibo the first official image that showcases the rear and front design of the smartphone. In a separate post, the specs of the phone have been revealed on Weibo. According to the leaked details, the upcoming Realme XT will come equipped with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 SoC, coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. There handset is expected to launch in three storage variants – 4GB RAM + 64GB storage, 6GB RAM + 64GB storage, and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage. The device will feature s 6.4-inch Super AMOLED screen with a waterdrop-style notch that houses the front camera. It will be backed by a 4,000mAh battery that supports 20W VOOC 3.0 fast charging.

For photography, the Realme XT will feature a quad-camera setup on the rear that comprises of a 64-megapixel primary shooter with f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel wide-angle-camera with f/2.25 aperture, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel portrait camera. Both 2-megapixel cameras will have an f/2.4 aperture. Upfront, there will be a 16-megapixel camera for selfies and video-calls.

The smartphone is rumored to launch in Pearl Blue and Silver Wing White color options. On the software front, it will run Android 9 Pie-based ColorOS 6 out of the box.

As of this writing, there is no information available on the pricing of the phone.
