Realme X7, X7 Pro India launch soon, confirms Realme’s CEO Madhav Sheth

The Realme X7 and Realme X7 Pro will soon be available in India. Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth has shared a nine-second video on Twitter with the tagline, “X is the future” suggesting that the X-series smartphones will soon make their way into the Indian market. The phones were unveiled in China in September last year and now the devices are coming to India. However, he has not revealed the official launch date of the phone in India yet.

We are well aware that the Chinese smartphone maker is planning to bring the X7 series with support for 5G connectivity as it was earlier reported that the company is launching X7 lineup in India in 2021. The exact launch date of the Realme X7 series in India will be revealed soon. 

Realme X7 Pro Specifications

Realme X7 Pro has a 6.55-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display that has a screen resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. The display also has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, 2500nits brightness, and a 120Hz refresh rate. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ processor which is paired with Mali-G77 MC9 GPU. It has up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage with Turbo Write technology. 

The handset also features a quad-rear camera setup with a combination of a 64-megapixel primary lens with a Sony IMX686 sensor, an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens with a 119-degree wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel retro portrait lens, and a 2-megapixel 4cm macro lens. Upfront, you get a 32-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.45 aperture.

It is fuelled by a 4500mAh battery that supports 65W ultra-fast flash charging. Connectivity features include 5G SA/ NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ax, Bluetooth 5, GPS (L1 + L5)/GLONASS/Beidou, NFC, USB Type-C and dual-SIM support. The handset measures 160.8 x 75.1 x 8.5mm and weighs 184 grams. Other key features of the phone include super linear stereo speakers along with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio.

Realme X7 Pro flaunts a Full HD+ supporting AMOLED display of 6.43-inch with a screen resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, Corning Gorilla Glass protection. An octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor is present under the hood of the phone paired with Mali-G77 GPU. It comes with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of USF 2.1 storage.

The quad-camera setup positioned on the rear side of the phone has a 64-megapixel main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle f/2.3 lens, a 2-megapixel black and white portrait sensor with an f/2.4 lens, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter with f/2.4 aperture. Upfront, there is a 32-megapixel sensor with an f/2.5 lens.

Connectivity options include 5G on both SIM cards, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, GLONASS. The phone houses a 4,300mAh battery and it comes with support for 65W fast charging via USB Type C.

Realme X7 series Price

Realme X7 series has been launched in China, where it is priced at RMB 1,799 (approx. Rs 19,290) for the Realme X7 variant. Meanwhile, the Realme X7 Pro variant can be purchased from the three models. The 6GB/128GB storage variant is priced at RMB 2,199 (roughly Rs 23,580), while the 8GB/128GB model costs RMB 2,399 (roughly Rs 25,720). The 8GB/256GB configuration, on the other hand, is priced at RMB 3,199 (around Rs 34,300).
