Realme is launching the Realme X7 series smartphones in India in 2021. Realme India and Europe CEO Madhav Sheth has confirmed that the Realme X7 series smartphones will be arriving in the Indian market in 2021. Before this, the company had launched the Realme X7 series in home-country China in September.
Madhav Sheth recently tweeted that the company was the first to bring 5G smartphones to India with Realme X50 Pro, launched in February this year. Further, he stated that the Realme X7 series will “democratise 5G technology in 2021.”

The Realme X7 includes two smartphones: Realme X7 and X7 Pro. Moreover, there are a few rumors and leaks about another unannounced X7 series phone, Realme X7 Lite. It was allegedly spotted in a TENAA listing with model number RMX2173. As the name suggests, the device is expected to be a toned-down and more affordable version of Realme X7. Unfortunately, the company hasn’t shared any details regarding the phone till now.
Realme X7 Pro Specifications
The Realme X7 Pro flaunts a 6.55-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display that has a screen resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. The display also has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, 2500nits brightness, and 120Hz refresh rate. It has an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ processor alongside Mali-G77 MC9 GPU. The device is backed by up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of storage with Turbo Write technology.
In terms of optics, the device features a quad-rear camera setup that includes a 64-megapixel primary lens with a Sony IMX686 sensor, 8-megapixel wide-angle lens with 119-degree wide-angle lens, 2-megapixel retro portrait lens, and 2-megapixel 4cm macro lens. On the front, you get a 32-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.45 aperture.
The phone sports an in-display fingerprint sensor, superlinear stereo speakers along with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio. Backed by a 4500mAh battery, it supports 65W ultra-fast flash charging.
Connectivity parts are managed by 5G SA/ NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ax, Bluetooth 5, GPS (L1 + L5)/GLONASS/Beidou, NFC, USB Type-C and dual-SIM support. The phone measures 160.8 x 75.1 x 8.5mm and weighs 184 grams.
Realme X7 specifications
Realme X7 sports a Full HD+ supporting AMOLED display of 6.43-inch with a screen resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It is fueled by the octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor coupled with the Mali-G77 GPU. It comes with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of USF 2.1 storage.
On the rear side, it features a 64-megapixel main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle f/2.3 lens, a 2-megapixel black and white portrait sensor with an f/2.4 lens, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter with f/2.4 aperture. For selfies, there is a 32-megapixel sensor with an f/2.5 lens.
Connectivity options include 5G on both SIM cards, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, Glonass. The phone packs a 4,300mAh battery and it comes with support for 65W fast charging via USB Type C.
