Realme X7 Max specifications appears on alleged retail box image

The Realme X7 Max was scheduled to launch today i.e May 4th. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation in the country, Oppo‘s sub-brand decided to postpone the launch of the smartphone. Today, a Twitter user @Gadgetsdata has shared the retail box of the Realme X7 Max. The Realme X7 Max is expected to be a rebranded version of the Realme GT Neo, which was launched on March 31st in China. 

As per the retail box, the smartphone is said to sport a 120Hz Super AMOLED display and MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. All of these features are present in the Realme GT Neo, thus confirming previous rumors that the Realme X7 Max is a rebranded model of the Realme GT Neo.

In addition, the tipster suggests that the box of the Realme X7 Max looks similar to that of the Realme X7 and Realme X7 Pro that were launched in India a couple of months ago. A revised launch date for the Realme X7 Max in India has yet to be announced by Realme

Realme GT Neo Specifications

Realme GT Neo comes with a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with support for a 120Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, 91.7% screen-to-body ratio, in-screen fingerprint sensor, and corner punch-hole camera.

It is fuelled by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor and it is paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Realme also added a 3D tempered VC liquid cooling system on the phone which is claimed to reduce the core temperature by up to 15℃. 

As for the cameras, there is a quad-camera setup on the rear with a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP wide-angle lens, and a 2MP camera. For selfies, you get a 16MP camera.

Connectivity features onboard include 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.1, dual-band Wi-Fi, GPS, and it has a USB Type-C port. It ships with Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 OS. There is a 4500mAh battery inside that comes with a 50W fast-charging. Other features include stereo speakers, Dolby Sound, Hi-Res Audio certification, 3.5mm headphone jack, and USB Type-C port.
