Realme X7 Max launch teased in India, to pack Dimensity 1200

Realme confirmed that it will bring the Realme X7 Max smartphone powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1200 5G chipset to India. Although the company originally planned to launch the phone on May 4, the launch was postponed because of the COVID-19 second wave in India. 

Today, Oppo’s sub-brand released an image through its Twitter handle to confirm that Realme X7 Max will be a rebrand of the Realme GT Neo. The shared image also gives a glimpse of the back of the phone. The post has the caption “Dare to Leap into the milky way?” hinting at the gradient finish of the phone.

Realme X7 Max Specifications, Features

Realme X7 Max comes equipped with a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, 120Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, and 91.7% screen-to-body ratio.

It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC, up to 12GB RAM, and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The phone lacks a MicroSD card slot. The handset ship with Android 11 OS out of the box with Realme UI 2.0 skin. It reportedly packs a 4500mAh battery that supports 50W charging that is claimed to offer a 50% charge in 16 minutes. 

For photography, the phone is said to have a triple rear camera setup with a combination 64MP Sony IMX682 primary sensor, an 8MP sensor with a 119° ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP sensor with a macro lens. On the front, you get a 16MP camera for selfies.
