Realme X50 Pro Player Edition with 90Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 865 SoC Announced

Oppo’s spin-off Realme has unveiled the new Realme X50 Pro Player edition smartphone in China. Read on to now about Realme X50 Pro Player Edition specifications, price and availability details.

Realme X50 Pro Player Edition comes with a price tag of 2999 yuan (approx. Rs 31,970) for the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage variant and the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model costs 3299 yuan (approx. Rs 35,150). The top variant with 12GB RAM and 128GB storage, on the other hand, costs 3599 yuan (approx. Rs 38,340).

The Realme X50 Pro Player Edition comes in Grey color and it will go on sale in China from June 1.

Realme X50 Pro Player Edition boasts a 6.44-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate, 1000+nits brightness, HDR10+. The display has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and an in-display fingerprint sensor. 

Powering the device is a 2.84GHz octa-core Snapdragon 865 7nm SoC paired with Adreno 650 GPU. The smartphone is available in 3 LPDDR5 RAM variants – 6GB, 8GB, and 12GB. It has 128GB of internal storage. On the software front, it runs on Android 10-based realme UI.

In the camera department, the new Realme X50 Pro Player Edition flaunts a quad-camera setup that includes a primary 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor, 2-megapixel macro, and 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, it has a dual-selfie camera with a 16-megapixel primary lens and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor.

Ticking all these is a 4200mAh battery that supports 65W SuperDart fast charging. The latest 65W SuperDart tech can charge the device from 0 to 100% in 35 minutes. In terms of connectivity, the phone supports 5G SA/ NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ax, Bluetooth 5.1, Dual-frequency GPS, NFC, USB Type-C. The handset measures 159.0×74.2×8.9mm and weigh 209 grams. Other features of the phone include hyper boost gaming mode, a five-dimensional Vapor Cooling System, Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res audio on its speakers. Unfortunately, it doesn’t have a 3.5mm audio jack.
