Riding on the success of its all mid-range smartphones, Oppo’s spin-off Realme is all set to launch Realme X2 with 64MP quad rear camera setup in China on September 24. Realme’s CMO Francis Wang has confirmed that the Realme X2 will be the rebranded version of the Realme XT that is launched in India last week.

The Chinese version of the phone is likely to have similar specifications. The Realme XT sports a 6.4-inch Full-HD+ 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution display with a waterdrop notch that houses the front selfie camera and the display also has Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The phone also features an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Powering the device is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 AIE SoC, coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of onboard storage. It is launched in three variants in India. One with 4 GB RAM with 64 GB storage, followed by a 6 GB RAM with 64 GB storage variant and an 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The handset runs ColorOS 6 based on Android 9 Pie.
For photography, the Realme XT has a quad-camera setup on the rear; consisting of a 64 MP Samsung GW1 primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 8 MP 119-degree ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2 MP depth sensor, and another 2 MP sensor. Upfront, it features a 16MP camera for selfies.
Under the hood, it packs a 4000 mAh battery with 30W fast charging support. Connectivity options on the device include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C port.

As for pricing, there is no word on the India price of the phone, however, it is likely to be in line with the Indian pricing of the smartphone. Realme XT arrived in India at Rs 15,999 for the 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage model. Another model with 6 GB RAM and 64 GB storage is priced at Rs 16,999. At last, the high-end model with 8GB RAM/128GB storage costs Rs. 18,999. It is available in Pearl White and Pearl Blue color options.
