Realme X2 to Launch with VOOC 4.0 Flash Charge Tech, Snapdragon 730G SoC

Chinese smartphone brand Realme is all set to launch a new smartphone in China on September 25. The new handset called the Realme will be the latest X-Series smartphone from the Oppo’s spin-off.

A Weibo post shared by a Realme official account reveals interesting information about upcoming Redmi X2 smartphone. The post states that the company is developing a smartphone that will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G. The Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 730G is based on 8nm architecture and is designed to support newer gaming experiences.

The company also revealed it would offer 30W VOOC 4.0 fast charging tech. The 30W VOOC 4.0 fast charging tech was unveiled by Realme, earlier this week and the company claims that the 30W Wireless VOOC Flash Charge technology allows a 4,000mAh battery to reach a full charge within 80 minutes. It is compatible with the QI standard, and supports a charging power of 5W or 10W. The 30W Wireless VOOC Flash Charge uses real-time adjustment of the charging process to ensure a more efficient and safer charging while avoiding overheating.

In a recent launch event of the Realme XT in India, RealMe also announced that they will be unveiling the Realme XT 730G in December. Thus, this new post by Realme on Weibo strengthened the speculation that the Realme X2, which is launching in China on September 24, will launch in India as the Realme XT 730G.

In a separate post, Realme India CMO Francis Wang through a tweet has indicated that the Realme X2 won’t be an all-new smartphone model in the Realme X series and will come as a new variant of the Realme XT that would be the Realme XT 730G.

Realme X2 Specifications

Albeit there are no details available about the other specs of the Realme X2, it is expected to come with some highlighting features. The smartphone is assumed to launch in Pearl White and Pearl Blue colour options similar to the Realme XT which was launched recently.

The company already confirmed that the Realme X2 will feature a 64MP primary sensor in the quad rear camera setup. Moreover, it is also confirmed to pack 32MP front camera.

Even though the price of the upcoming Realme X2 is unavailable it is expected to be priced aggressively.
