Realme X2 Pro 6GB RAM Variant Confirmed to Launch In India for Rs 27,999

Realme X2 Pro was announced in India last month with some incredible specs for its price tag. The flagship has been launched in two variants: 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB of storage. Now, as per the tweet from the CEO, Realme is going to throw a 6GB RAM variant into the mix.

Realme CEO Madhav Sheth has announced on Twitter that a new variant of the Realme X2 Pro with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage will be launched for Rs 27,999. However, the Realme CEO hasn’t provided an exact launch date for the Realme X2 Pro 6GB RAM variant, but it is expected to launch soon in India.

Furthermore, his tweet revealed that the Realme X2 Pro Concrete and Red Brick Master Editions will go on sale on December 24 at 8:55 PM on the company’s official Realme.com and Flipkart e-commerce platform.

To recall, the Realme X2 Pro 8GB RAM with 128GB storage model was launched in India for Rs 29,999 while the 8GB RAM with 256GB of storage variant costs Rs 33,999.

Realme X2 Pro Specifications

Realme X2 Pro comes equipped with a 6.5-inch (2400 x 1080 pixels) Full HD+ 20:9 aspect ratio Fluid AMOLED 2.5D curved glass display with 402 PPI and 20:9 aspect ratio. The phone has a 91.7% screen-to-body ratio, HDR10+ support, DC Dimming 2.0, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 Protection and 135Hz touch sampling rate. The device runs Android 9 Pie-based ColorOS 6.1 on top. The device packs a 4000mAh battery with 50W (10W/5A) SuperVOOC fast charging.

It is powered by the Snapdragon 855+ processor clocked at 2.96GHz, paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. In terms of optics, it has a quad rear camera consisting of a Samsung GW1 64-megapixel lens with f/1.8 aperture, a telephoto lens of 13-megapixel with support for up to 20x hybrid zoom, an ultrawide lens of 8-megapixel with 115-degree field-of-view and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Upfront, there is a 16-megapixel AI camera that has support for super night scene along with 4-in-1 pixel merging technology.

Connectivity options include dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, USB-C, GPS, NFC and 3.5mm audio jack. The phone also comes equipped with stereo dual speakers coupled with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res audio technologies. The handset measures 161×75.7×8.7 mm and weighs 199 grams.
