Realme X Spotted on TENAA with 256GB Storage

Oppo‘s sub-brand Realme unveiled its flagship Realme X back in May. It is the company’s first smartphone to come with a pop-up camera module, which allows the device to have a screen-to-body ratio of 91.2 percent. The phone was announced in three storage models in China with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. Following the launch, however, it was unveiled that the company will further be upgrading the device by introducing a 256GB storage variant. Now, the upgraded variant has been spotted on TENAA, which hints at the imminent launch.

The Realme X TENAA listing has been updated with another new variant that has 256GB internal storage. The smartphone is currently available 4GB + 64GB, 6GB + 64GB, and 8GB + 128GB storage variants in China that are priced at CNY 1,499 (approx. Rs 15,038), CNY 1,599 (approx. Rs 16,041), and CNY 1,799 (approx. Rs 18,047) respectively. The new Realme X variant with 256GB internal storage is listed on TENAA with 8GB of RAM.

Realme X specifications

The Realme X comes with a 6.53-inch full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) AMOLED display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It also features an in-display fingerprint sensor. Under the hood, the handset is fuelled by the Snapdragon 710 SoC, paired with Adreno 616 GPU and up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. Ticking all these is a 3,765mAh battery that supports VOOC Flash Charge 3.0.

As for cameras, the Realme X comes equipped with a dual-camera setup on the rear that comprises of a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 primary sensor with an f/1.7 lens and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor along with an f/2.4 lens. Upfront, it has a 16-megapixel Sony IMX 471 pop-up selfie shooter that includes an f/2.0 lens, which is claimed to have a quick elevating rate of 0.74 seconds.

Connectivity options on the Realme X include dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C port.
