Realme X India Launch in Second Half of 2019?

Realme X which has been in news for whole last month has finally launched recently in the home country China. Now, the device has once again come up with a new rumor. As per reports, the smartphone is now rumored to launch in India in the second half of 2019.

In the latest episode of #AskMadhav on YouTube, Realme India chief Madhav Sheth confirmed that the company plans to bring the Realme X to India in the second half of the year. Even though he did not mention the exact launch date, the smartphone may not be launched in the country very soon. In terms of pricing, Realme is planning to price the Realme X somewhere between Rs. 18,000 to Rs. 20,000 in India.

Launching the RealMe X in the Indian market is going to be Realme’s strategy to counter the growth of Chinese brands like Xiaomi, Huawei and Vivo in India.

Undoubtedly, the Realme X is one of the most impressive devices launched by the Oppo’s sub-brand Realme. The company has already launched the handset in China recently and it comes with 6.53-inch AMOLED display featuring 1080 x 2340 pixels Full HD+ resolution, an optical In-display fingerprint scanner, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the top. Under the hood, the device gets fuel from Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC.

In terms optics, it has a dual rear camera setup which comprises of 48-megapixel and 5-megapixel cameras with the primary Sony IMX586 sensor clubbed with an f/1.7 aperture lens. For selfies, there is a 16-megapixel pop-up camera paired with an f/2.0 aperture. The handset is backed by 3765mAh battery that supports 20W VOOC 3.0 fast charging and it runs on custom ColorOS 6.0 skin which is based on the Android 9 Pie Operating system.

The smartphone is available in China with three RAM and storage variants: 4GB RAM + 64GB storage, 6GB RAM + 64GB storage, and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage.
