A new Realme smartphone has been launched in China under the Q-series. Dubbed Realme Q5x, the handset packs Dimensity 700 SoC, a dual-rear camera system, and a 5000mAh battery.

Priced at CNY 999, Realme Q5x comes in a single 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. It is available in two colors: Ink Cloud Black and Star Blue. A first sale for the Q5x is scheduled for June 23. No information has been provided regarding its availability outside of China.

Realme Q5x is equipped with a 6.5-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with an 88.7% screen-to-body ratio, 400 nits of peak brightness, and a waterdrop notch.

The smartphone features the MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor along with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage space that can be further expanded with a microSD card.

On the back, the Q5x has dual cameras with a 13MP primary sensor and a 0.3MP depth sensor. There is a 5MP camera on the front for taking selfies and making video calls.

The device has a fingerprint reader built into the side. A 5000mAh battery powers the Q5x, which offers support for 10W standard charging. It runs Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0 skin.

In terms of connectivity, the handset supports 5G, dual 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port.
