Realme Q2 bags BIS certification in India, expected to launch in India soon

Realme Q2 launch in India is expected soon as the phone allegedly passes through the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) certification site.

The phone believed to be Realme Q2 has received the Bureau Of Indian Standards (BIS) certification, therefore hinting at its launch in India soon. The BIS website shows the Realme handset with model number RMX2117. The BIS certification of the Realme Q2 was first spotted by tipster Mukul Sharma, though the Chinese smartphone maker is yet to confirm the development.

Realme Q2 specifications

The handset sports a 6.5-inch display with 2400 × 1080 pixels Full HD+ resolution, and 120Hz refresh rate. . Additionally, the display’s punch-hole cutout houses a 16-megapixel (f/2.1) camera. It runs on Android 10-based Realme UI. 

For performance, Realme Q2 relies upon the MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The device packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 30W Dart Charge fast charging.

As far as the rear set-up is concerned, there is a triple-camera setup on the phone that includes a 48-megapixels primary shooter with f/1.8 aperture alongside an 8-megapixels 119° ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.3 aperture and 2-megapixels 4cm macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. 

It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Connectivity options on the phone include 5G SA/ NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, USB Type-C and 3.5mm audio jack. The device measures 162.2×75.1×9.1mm and weighs around 194 grams.
