A new Realme GT-series smartphone is in the works. Next year, the company is expected to launch the GT 2 Pro as its next flagship smartphone. An exact launch date has not been announced yet. According to rumours, Realme GT 2 Pro will debut in Q1 2022. Under the hood, the GT 2 Pro is rumoured to feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, slated to be released next week. Now, the device has been spotted on AnTuTu benchmarking site.
In AnTuTu performance tests, the GT 2 Pro has the model number RMX3300. Snapdragon 898, aka Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, is said to power the handset. The smartphone scored 1,025,215 on AnTuTu. The GT 2 Pro is now the first Snapdragon-powered smartphone to cross a million score on the AnTuTu benchmark. Comparatively, the Dimensity 9000 (MT6983) AnTuTu benchmark achieved a score of 1,007,396.
A leak of the GT 2 Pro’s specifications and features has surfaced. According to rumors, the phone will have a 6.51-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a 120Hz refresh rate.
Additionally, it is said to have a triple camera set up with a 50MP primary camera sensor. It will sport a 32MP front camera for selfies. There are rumours that the phone will be equipped with a 5000 mAh battery and 125W fast charging. The phone is likely to run Android 11 out of the box, with Realme UI 3.0. Pricing is expected to be around CNY 4,000 (approx. Rs 46,000).
