On January 4th, Realme will launch the upcoming Realme GT 2 series in China. NBTC and EEC certified the vanilla Realme GT 2 earlier. Just days before its launch, the Realme GT 2 has been spotted on the Geekbench with model number RMX3310.
The Geekbench listing indicates that there will be an octa-core processor with the codename Lahaina. Based on these details, it is expected that the Realme GT will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. In the single-core test, the Realme GT scored 1136 points. While the multi-core test on Geekbench 5 scored 3381 points.
Moreover, the listing indicates the device will also be available with a 12GB RAM model. Nevertheless, we can also expect the company to offer it in other memory configurations. It is confirmed that the device will run Android 12 with Realme UI 3.0.
This upcoming flagship device has previously been spotted on TENAA, revealing some key specifications. According to the listing, the handset will have a 6.62-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 2400×1080 pixel resolution and an optical in-display fingerprint scanner.
There may be a triple camera set up on the GT 2, including a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP sensor (probably an ultra-wide-angle lens), and a 2MP camera. There will be a 16MP front-facing camera on the handset. A dual-cell 2,440mAh battery will power the device. It will weigh around 199.8 grams and around 8.6mm thick.
