Realme C3 variants, specifications revealed ahead of launch

Realme is gearing up to launch the Realme C3 budget smartphone in the Indian market on February 6. The smartphone will be the successor of the Realme C2 handset that was launched last year. As Realme C3’s launch date comes closer, the leaks have also started flowing-in more than before. 

According to the landing page on Flipkart, the Realme C3 will be available in two variants in India. The base model of the Realme C3 will be packed with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. On the other hand, the top-end model of the phone will include 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

The Realme C3 is listed on Flipkart with a tagline ‘Entertainment ka Superstar’ which means it will be a superstar of entertainment as it will pack a bigger display and battery. The smartphone will feature a 6.5-inch display with a ‘mini-drop’ notch that is protected by a Gorilla Glass. The chin of the device appears thick, but the remaining bezels look thin. The device will offer a screen-to-body ratio of 89.8 percent.

As per the image listed on the page, the Realme C3 will have a dual-camera setup aligned vertically alongside an LED flash. It has a 12-megapixel main lens and the camera features include Chroma Boost, HDR mode, panorama selfie and slow-motion video shooting, etc.

Talking about the battery, the handset is said to come equipped with a whopping 5,000mAh battery. The phone is said to offer 30 days of standby time, 439 hours of talk time, 19.4 hours of streaming music, 20.8 hours of watching YouTube and 10.8 hours of PUBG gaming.

To recall, the predecessor Realme C2 sports a 6.1-inch HD+ display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The handset is powered by MediaTek Helio P22 octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz and is backed by a massive 4000mAh battery. The processor is paired with the 2GB/3GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB of internal storage, which is expandable via microSD card. On the software front, the phone runs ColorOS 6 based on Android 9 Pie. The dual-camera setup on the rear panel includes a primary sensor of 13 megapixels along with a 2-megapixel secondary sensor for depth sensing. 

The Realme C2 is currently selling on Flipkart for Rs. 5,999 for the 2 GB RAM + 32 GB storage variant and Rs. 7,499 for the 3 GB RAM + 32 GB storage variant.
