RealMe‘s upcoming RealMe 3 Pro has been leaked on several occasions, and now a report suggests that a successor of RealMe C1 named RealMe C2 is also arriving alongside the RealMe 3 Pro. The RealMe 3 Pro is set to be unveiled in India on April 22. A report suggests that the RealMe C2 is being internally tested and the company will launch the phone along with the much-awaited mid-range phone RealMe 3 Pro.
The report also revealed the specifications of the RealMe C2. As per the leaked specifications of the upcoming Realme C2, not a whole lot has changed compared to the RealMe C1, except the processor. The RealMe C2 is also expected to look similar to predecessor RealMe C1. As per the report, the RealMe C2 will come with a starting price of Rs. 8,000.
According to the leaked specs, the RealMe C2 will be fuelled by MediaTek Helio P22 chipset. To recall, the predecessor RealMe C1 was launched with Snapdragon 425 SoC. And now, the company has opted MediaTek instead of Snapdragon. The RealMe C2 is expected to launch in 2 GB RAM and 3 GB RAM two variants.
In terms of optics, the smartphone will come equipped with a dual camera setup on the rear that comprises of a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary lens. Up front, there will be an 8-megapixel shooter for selfies. The device will run on custom ColorOS 6.0 which is based on latest Android 9 Pie. The RealMe C2 will pack a massive 4,230AmAh battery.
As for what the RealMe 3 Pro packs, there have been plenty of leaks which reveal a lot about the design and specs of the device. The main highlight of the RealMe 3 Pro is the triple rear camera setup on the back side and the Snapdragon 710.
If the rumors are to be believed, then Oppo’s sub-brand will launch both RealMe 3 Pro and RealMe C2 in a single launch event, as we mentioned above.
