RealMe has started teasing the arrival of a new smartphone. Recently, Flipkart has dedicated a page for teasing the arrival of the new smartphone in India, and it is set to launch as soon. According to the teaser page on Flipkart, the upcoming RealMe phone packs “mega battery, mega screen and mega storage” and it is believed to be a new variant of RealMe C1. Earlier leaks and rumors already confirmed that the upcoming RealMe phone will be entertainment-focused model.
To recall, the company unveiled the RealMe C1 in September at an affordable price tag of Rs 6999. However, the phone received a price hike in November of Rs. 1000. The Realme C1 has a 6.2-inch HD+ notched display and a unibody design and a glossy back panel. On the camera, the C1 features dual-camera system at the back, comprised of a 13-megapixel primary sensor, and a 2-megapixel secondary depth sensor. Up front, there is a 5MP sensor and it supports AI facial unlock. The new device comes with a huge battery at 4,230 mAh. The device runs Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with ColorOS 5.1 on top.
Now, it seems the company is gearing up to launch another variant of RealMe C1 with some improvements and better specs.
The company already confirmed that it’s working on the Realme 3 smartphone and the it is said to launch in this quarter. Earlier, it was rumored that the Realme was working on a 48-megapixel camera phone. But, recently the CEO Madhav Sheth clarified that the company is not working on a smartphone with 48-megapixel camera.
