Realme’s unveiling event surprised us by ending up with another device with a very affordable price at Rs 6999. Since from a month the company is teasing about is new Realme 2 pro version while the corporate didn’t hint anything about its new Realme C1 phone. The new Realme C1 is a budget smartphone that takes on the Xiaomi Redmi 6A and is also an improvement over the Realme 1 smartphone. The Realme C1 falls under the entry-level segment where it is the cheapest phone from Realme yet.
Specifications
The Realme C1 essentially comes with less RAM and storage compared to Realme 2. It comes with the same Snapdragon 450 chipset, paired with 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage. The storage can be expanded up to 256GB using a microSD card.
The Realme C1 has a 6.2-inch HD+ notched display, making it the most affordable smartphone to come with the ‘feature’. It’s complemented by a unibody design and a glossy back panel, which further enhance the appearance of the smartphone but misses on the Diamond back and the rear-mounted fingerprint reader.
On the camera, the device dual-camera system at the back, comprised of a 13-megapixel primary sensor, and a 2-megapixel secondary depth sensor. Another difference, although small, is the front-facing camera. The C1 packs a 5MP sensor instead of 8MP, but luckily, it still supports AI facial unlock. The new device comes with a huge battery at 4,230 mAh, which is downright impressive for a smartphone at this price segment.T he device runs Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with Oppo’s ColorOS 5.1 on top.
Pricing:
The Realme C1 is priced in India at Rs. 6,999, though this is only an introductory pricing for the Diwali festive season. This model will go on sale in India on October 11 via Flipkart.
