Realme is holding an event on April 7 in India. Earlier, the brand confirmed the launch of Realme GT 2 Pro, Realme smart TV stick, Realme Buds Air 3, and Realme Book Prime at the event. Now, Realme has announced the launch of its Realme 9 smartphone on the same day. 

The device will be released on April 7. To recall, the Realme 9 4G phone was found on the TDRA certification website and the official site a few days ago.

According to the new leak, there will be a Sunburst Gold colour variant of the smartphone. Further, the phone will come in Meteor Black and Stargaze White colours. A 3.5mm headphone jack and USB Type-C port can also be seen in the image. There will be volume controls on the left edge and a power button on the right. It will have a triple rear camera setup on the back alongside an LED flash.

Specs-wise, the Realme 9 4G is confirmed to come with a 108MP camera setup featuring a Samsung ISOCELL HM6 sensor. There will be a 16MP front camera sensor. Additionally, Realme will offer a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support on the phone. 

As per other leaks, the Realme 9 4G is available in two variants: 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB. It is expected to feature a 6.6-inch Full HD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate support. It is expected to run Android 12-based Realme UI out of the box. It could be equipped with an octa-core MediaTek Helio G96 processor under the hood.
