The Realme 9 5G series will be launched in the Indian market next week. In an official announcement, Realme has announced that the 9 5G and 9 5G SE smartphones will be launched on March 10. To recall, the company recently unveiled the Realme 9 Pro 5G, Realme 9 Pro+ 5G smartphones in India with colour-changing back panels.
Realme has announced its upcoming smartphone launch date on Twitter. Both the Realme 9 5G and Realme 9 5G SE will debut in India on March 10 at 12:30 p.m. IST. The brand will also launch TechLife Watch S100 as well as TechLife Buds N100 on the same day.

Also on its official Indian website, the company has created a microsite dedicated to the Realme 9 series that reveals key highlights of the forthcoming Realme 9 5G lineup.
According to the listing, the Realme 9 5G will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G 5G SoC. Realme 9 5G SE will be equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G SoC and support for a 144Hz refresh rate.
Moreover, both phones in the Realme 9 series will have a triple AI camera setup on the rear with a 48MP primary sensor. According to reports, Realme 9 5G SE is a rebranded Realme Q3S.
Realme 9 5G Specifications
Earlier leaks suggested that the phone would have a 6.5-inch Full HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The device will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G processor with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB of built-in storage.
There will be a triple camera setup on the rear of the phone with a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. Additionally, the front of the phone will feature a 16MP camera for selfies. According to reports, the phone will have a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging.
As far as software is concerned, it will run Android 12-based Realme UI 3. In addition, it will feature a stereo speaker setup, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a Type-C port, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader.
