Realme 8 and Realme 8 Pro design teased ahead of launch: Here’s a look

Realme 8 series will launch on March 24 in India, the company has already confirmed. The upcoming Realme lineup is expected to include three smartphone models including the standard Realme 8, Realme 8 Pro and Realme 8i. Ahead of the official launch, tipster Mukul Sharma shared an official-looking teaser that gives a glimpse at the design of the upcoming phones. Read on to know more about it.

As revealed by the teasers, the Realme 8 will sport a punch-hole camera on the front and a square-shaped camera module on the rear. The hole punch for the selfie camera is placed on the top left corner of the screen. Both the smartphones will have ‘Dare to Leap’ branding on the rear panel. Further, the handset is said to sport a Super AMOLED display. The teaser reveals confirms the previous rumours that hinted at 108MP quad rear cameras on the Realme 8 Pro. It is also confirmed to support 50W SuperDart fast charging.

As for the other specs, the Realme 8 and Realme 8 Pro are said to be powered by Snapdragon 720G SoC and Snapdragon 732G chipset, respectively. It will run Realme UI based on Android 11. Rumours suggest that smartphones will get AMOLED displays with high refresh rates. It could come in up to 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage options.

Realme 8 will be available in Cyber Silver and Cyber Black colour variants. The Pro variant is said to launch in Infinite Black, Infinite Blue, and Illuminating Yellow colour variants. Since the details regarding the specifications aren’t confirmed, we need to wait until the launch event scheduled for March 24 to get the exact information. Stay tuned.
