Realme 6 Spotted on Geekbench Listing With Helio G90

Realme 6 series is going to be announced at a launch event in India on March 5 where the brand will announce Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro smartphones. Before the launch, the Realme 6 has spotted on popular benchmarking app GeekBench. The listing confirms some of the key features of the upcoming model.

The Geekbench listing states the name of the device has model number RMX2061. It does not directly reveal the name of the processor. But, the processor has a base frequency of 2.00GHz, so it is MediaTek MT6785 chipset (aka Helio G90 chipset). Previous leaks and rumors suggested the variant would run a Snapdragon SoC but we now know this could be wrong. 

The device benchmarked on Geekbench comes equipped with 8GB of RAM and runs Android 10 OS. In terms of performance, it scored 508 points in the single-core test and 1633 in the multi-core test. The other specifications of the phone are expected to surface through newer leaks.

To recollect, Realme 6 Pro was benchmarked on the Geekbench with the 1.8Ghz Qualcomm octa-core processor paired with 8GB of RAM. However, the processor name isn’t mentioned in the Geekbench listing, but several reports hinted that it will pack Snapdragon 720G SoC. The handset is spotted on running on Android 10 OS. It scored 571 points in the single-core test and 1676 points in the multi-core test.

Going by the previous report, Realme 6 Pro price in India will start at Rs. 13,999 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant and Realme 6 is reportedly launching with a starting price of Rs. 9,999.
