Realme 6, Realme 6 Pro Unveiled in India with a Starting Price of Rs. 12,999

After weeks of speculations, renders and leaks, Realme’s next mid-range phones Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro have been launched in India. The Realme 6 series is a successor to the Realme 5 series launched last year. The Realme 6 is available in Comet Blue and Comet White color options while the Realme 6 Pro is launched in Lightning Blue and Lightning Orange color options.

Realme 6 Specifications

The regular Realme 6 comes with a 6.5-inch Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. The screen comes with a 90Hz refresh rate along with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

Under the hood, the device is powered by MediaTek Helio G90T SoC and it is available in 4GB/64GB, 6GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB RAM and storage variants.

In the camera department, the Realme 6 gets a total of four cameras at the rear. This includes a 64-megapixel primary lens with f/1.72 aperture, 8-megapixel wide-angle lens with f/2.3 aperture, 2-megapixel portrait lens, and 2-megapixel macro shooter. For selfies, the phone bears a 16-megapixel front camera.

Amongst other specifications, the phone runs Realme UI based on Android 10 OS. Powering the phone is a massive 4,300mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging. Lastly, the connectivity features include dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, USB Type-C port and dual-SIM support.

Realme 6 Pro Specifications

Being expensive of the two, the Realme 6 Pro comes with a larger 6.6-inch Full HD+ Ultra Smooth display alongside the Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and a single punch-hole selfie shooter on the front. It boasts of a 90.6 percent screen-to-body ratio.

Powering the phone is the Snapdragon 720G. Realme is offering the device in a total of three configurations with up to 8GB LPPDDR4x RAM and up to 128GB UFS 2.1 storage.

For photography, the Realme 6 Pro uses a 64-megapixel primary camera with f/1.7 aperture, 8-megapixel wide-angle lens, a 12-megapixel telephoto lens with 20x Zoom capabilities and 2-megapixel macro lens. For selfies too, there’s 16-megapixel primary lens and an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens dual punch-hole sensors upfront.

The device packs a 4,300mAh battery with support for 30W fast charging. It has a side-mounted sensor. Connectivity options include dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, USB Type-C port and dual-SIM support. 

Realme 6, Realme 6 Pro Pricing, Availability

Realme 6 has been priced at Rs. 12,999 for the base model with a 4GB/64GB configuration. While the 6GB/128GB is priced at Rs. 14,999. Whereas, the 8GB/128GB variant is pitted for Rs. 15,999. Realme 6 will go on sale on March 11 on Flipkart and Realme.com.

The Realme 6 Pro, on the other hand, starts at Rs. 16,999 for 6GB/64GB model. Whereas, the 6GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB variants are priced at Rs. 17,999 and Rs. 18,999, respectively. Realme 6 Pro first sale will start from March 13 from Flipkart and Realme.com.
