Oppo’s spin-off Realme is all set to launch a new phone named Realme 5s alongside the Realme X2 Pro in India on November 20. A teaser has popped up on Indian e-retailer Flipkart’s website which gives us an indication that it may be the latest budget phone from Realme.
On the landing page of Realme X2 Pro on Flipkart, there is a text on the top that reads ‘realme 5s coming soon’. This clearly suggests that the company will launch the latest budget smartphone along with the much-awaited Realme X2 Pro.
Though the teaser didn’t reveal anything about the Realme 5s, it states that the phone is coming soon and it will be a Flipkart exclusive smartphone. Details on the pricing and availability of variants in India have not been disclosed.
Some reports already hinting at the launch of the company’s first wireless earbuds in India on the same launch event. The company is now offering the Wireless Youth Buds along with Realme XT in the Philippines. The Realme Philippines Twitter handle has already started teasing the same. On Twitter, the company revealed that those who pre-order Realme XT on Phillipines will get Youth Buds for free.
As the Realme X2 Pro is already launched in Chinese market, we already know its specifications. To recall, the Realme X2 Pro comes with a 6.5-inch (2400 x 1080 pixels) Full HD+ Fluid AMOLED 2.5D curved glass display. Under the hood, it is fuelled by the 2.96GHz octa-core Snapdragon 855+ SoC. It is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The handset runs Android 9 Pie-based ColorOS 6.1 skin and is backed up by 4000mAh battery with 50W (10W/5A) SuperVOOC fast charging.
