Realme 5i Passes through Geekbench Ahead of Launch Reconfirming Certain Specs

Realme is gearing up to launch a water-downed version of its recently unveiled Realme 5 on January 6, which will be dubbed as Realme 5i. Now the upcoming smartphone has been spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking website revealing its key specifications. To recall, the same phone has recently certified by the Wi-Fi certification site and BIS.

As per the GeekBench listing, the Realme 5i will be powered by Snapdragon 665 processor. In addition to the chipset, the Geekbench listing also confirms that the smartphone will feature 4GB of RAM. On the software front, the handset will run on Android 9-Pie out-of-the-box.

The Geekbench test results of the upcoming device reveal that it has scored 1,543 points and 5602 points in single-core and multi-core tests, respectively. The device also scored 314 and 1,389 in single-core and multi-core tests on Geekbench 5. So, that’s all the information we have at this moment. Let’s wait for the official announcement of the Realme 5i to get the exact details on the budget smartphone.

Interestingly, the Realme 5i has been listed on Vietnamese e-commerce siteFPTShop for VND 4,290,000 (approx. Rs. 13,000). As per the images on the shopping site, it seems the forthcoming Realme 5i will be a toned-down version of the recently launched Realme 5. It is likely to feature a downgraded selfie camera and a gradient finish on the back, unlike the diamond-cut pattern on the Realme 5.

According to the Realme 5i listing on FPTShop, the upcoming Realme 5i will feature a 5.2-inch HD+ display. Similar to the Realme 5, the Realme 5i packs a quad rear camera setup that comprises of a 12-megapixel primary sensor, 8-megapixel wide-angle camera, 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. It also has a 5,000mAh battery.
