Realme launched a new phone in its ‘5’ series called the Realme 5i January, this year in India. The handset was announced with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. Now, the company has announced the launch of a new variant of its recently launched Realme 5i smartphone in India. The brand has introduced 4GB RAM with 128GB of internal storage variant of the Realme 5i.
The new variant is available for purchase for Rs 9,999. With this, the smartphone is available in two storage variants. The base variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB RAM is priced at Rs. 8,999 and is available for purchase on Flipkart and Realme online store. It comes in Aqua Blue and Forest Green color options.
Realme 5i Specifications
The Realme 5i has a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a 1600 x 720 pixels resolution. It is protected by Glass 3. Powering the device is a Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 665 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of native storage. In terms of optics, it features a quad-camera setup that is aligned vertically. The setup includes a 12-megapixel with Sony IMX386 sensor, f/1.8 aperture, PDAF, LED flash, EIS, an 8-megapixel 118° ultra-wide-angle lens with 1.12μm pixel size, f/2.25 aperture, 2-megapixel depth sensor and 2-megapixel camera for 4cm macro with 1.75μm pixel size, f/2.4 aperture, while the front camera is an 8-megapixel sensor for selfies.
It runs Android 9.0 Pie-based ColorOS 6.1 and the phone is backed by a 5000mAh battery with a 10W charger bundled. Connectivity features include Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS/ GLONASS/ Beidou, micro USB and 3.5mm audio jack. The Realme 5i measures 165.4 x 75.6 x 9.3 mm and it weighs 198 grams.
