The Realme 5 has been making the rounds on the internet even before its official launch. Today, a report from 91Mobiles revealed the price tag of the upcoming Realme 5 smartphone. Now, alleged benchmark scores of the Realme 5 has surfaced on Chinese benchmarking website, Geekbench. According to the listing, the device achieved a single-core score of 1525, and a multi-core score of 5498.
The Geekbench listing of the alleged Realme 5 also revealed few internal specifications of the handset. Previous leaks did suggest the possibility of the Realme 5 being outfitted with the Snapdragon 600-series chipset. On the Geekbench entry, the motherboard section on the listing shows “trinket”, which is associated with the Snapdragon 665 SoC. Coupled with this is 4GB of RAM and the smartphone spotted running on Android 9 Pie.
As we mentioned in the beginning, a new report on the price suggested that the base variant of the Realme 5 will be priced competitively and start from Rs 8,999. Based on what has leaked so far, the Realme 5 series will have a quad-camera setup on the rear, a waterdrop notch on the front. Rumours also claim that the primary sensor on the phone will come with a wide aperture to enable better low-light photography. The secondary sensor will come with an ultra-wide lens; the third sensor will be a super macro lens, whereas the fourth will be a depth sensor for portrait mode.
Talking about the Realme 5 Pro, it is rumoured to come equipped with an AMOLED screen. Furthermore, the primary camera on the Realme 5 Pro will be a Sony IMX586 sensor of 48-megapixel resolution. It will also be backed by a 10nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 SoC, an octa-core CPU featuring eight Kryo 360 cores running at 2.30GHz.
It looks like we’ll have to wait till an official launch to get more details on the Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro.
