The upcoming Realme 5 series smartphones have been leaked multiple times in the past few weeks, and we already know that the company will announce the new series on August 20. After Realme 5 appearance on Geekbench, the Pro variant ‘Realme 5 Pro’ spotted on Geekbench. The phone’s Geekbench visit shed some light on its internal hardware such as an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC ticking at its heart, paired with 8GB of RAM.
A Realme device with a model number RMX1971 has been spotted on Geekbench with a single-core score of 1143 and a multi-core score of 4618. The listings also reveal that the Realme 5 Pro would come with 8GB of RAM. However, there is a possibility that the Realme 5 Pro might come in two variants: one with 6GB RAM and the other with 8GB RAM. The Geekbench listing also shows the handset will run on Android 9.0 out of the box. It is not clear whether this device will be eligible for the Android Q update.
Other rumoured specifications of the handset include a 5000 mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 flash charging. The phone is already confirmed to feature quad-camera setup on the rear.
