Realme has scheduled a launch event in India on August 20 where it will be launching the Realme 5 series smartphones. The company has been rolling out teasers bit by bit on Flipkart, and it has now updated landing page that reveals some of its key features.
Realme 5 Key Features Teased
The Realme 5 is going to be powered by a Snapdragon processor. Geekbench listing already revealed the chipset is the Snapdragon 665. If the leaked Geekbench listing is to be accurate, then we can expect the handset to feature 4GB of RAM in at least one of its variants. The phone also features a quad-camera setup on the back, but its configuration is not yet known. One of the teasers revealed that the primary camera has an f/1.8 aperture. On the rear, there is also a fingerprint sensor.
Furthermore, the teaser also revealed that the handset would pack a massive 5,000mAh battery. Mukul Sharma (@stufflistings) claimed that the phone will not support fast charging (VOOC 3.0). However, Realme confirmed that the upcoming Realme 5 Pro would have a VOOC 3.0 fast charging on Realme 5 Pro.
