After a short break, Oppo’s sub-brand RealMe has finally hit back into the mid-end budget segment with its Realme 3 smartphone. The company has unveiled the Realme 3 in an event today.
Being the Realme’s latest offering, the Realme 3 offers a good design and a good-enough performance bundled with a massive battery, for an affordable price. The Realme 3 sports a 3D gradient unibody design and a dewdrop notch upfront.
Realme 3 Specifications and Features
As for the features, Realme 3 comes with a 6.2-inch HD+ dewdrop-notched display in a 19:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 720×1520 pixels. Next, it boasts a Corning Gorilla Glass protection, 88.3 percent screen-to-body-ratio, 450 nits peak brightness
Under the hood, the device gets powered by the 2.1GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P70 SoC. It further carries 3GB/4GB of RAM with an option to choose from 32GB and 64GB storage configurations. There’s also a microSD card slot for further storage expansion up to 256GB.
In the optics department, Realme 3 gets a vertically stacked pair of dual cameras at the back. The setup includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 and PDAF clubbed with a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. The notch at the top houses a 13-megapixel selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture. Both the cameras are powered by nifty AI Beautification, HDR, AI Face Unlock and an LED flash.
On the software front, the device runs Color OS 6.0 based on Android Pie. Backing all of this is a massive 4,230mAh battery with a 10W charger. Moreover, the connectivity options like dual-nano SIM slots, Bluetooth 4.2, 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, OTG, Micro-USB port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack are given onboard.
Realme 3 Price and Availability
The Realme 3 price in India starts at Rs. 8,999 for the base model with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The high-end variant with 64GB storage is tipped at Rs. 10,999. It will be sold exclusively via Flipkart and Realme store in Dynamic Black and Black color options. The sales will go live on March 12 at 12 pm (Noon) IST.
According to the RealMe, the 3GB RAM variant price tag is part of an introductory offer for the first 1 million buyers. The Radiant Blue variant will be available from March 26, and it will be available via offline stores soon.
