RealMe has finally confirmed the launch date of the Realme 3. The Realme 3 will be the successor of last year’s highly successful Realme 2. The company is planning to launch the device on March 4, 2019, Monday at 12:30 PM and they already sent out media invites for the launch of the Realme 3.

RealMe CEO Madhav Seth announced on Twitter that the Realme 3 will be launched on March 4 in India. Sadly, the company didn’t reveal any details about the specifications of this smartphone. However, a previous tweet by CEO revealed that the RealMe 3 will be fueled by Helio P70.

The company is already working on another phone named ‘RealMe A1’ and it is also powered by the same Helio P70 chipset. According to the company, the Helio P70 SoC is a 2.3GHz octa-core processor offers a 40 percent lower power consumption, 30 percent fast download speeds and 3 percent better multi-core CPU performance compared to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 used in RealMe 2 Pro.

The MediaTek’s new Helio P70 processor is built by TSMC using their 12nm FinFET technology and features Cortex-A73 and Cortex A53 cores in the same 4+4 arrangement, coupled with ARM Mali-G72 GPU. The CPU is clocked at 2.1GHz for the A73 cores and 2.0GHz for the A53 cores. The GPU is also clocked higher at 900MHz. The AI processing unit (APU) also brings a 10-30% improvement in processing efficiency compared to the Helio P60.
