Realme already confirmed to launch RealMe 3 smartphone with the MediaTek Helio P70 SoC, the latest flagship processor from MediaTek on March 4. On Twitter, Madhav Seth recently shared an update about the use of MediaTek Helio P70 on upcoming RealMe 3. In a separate tweet, he also hinted at the case which has a popular diamond-cut design similar to Realme 1. The company is likely to launch one of its accessories along with the RealMe 3 on 4th March.
Now, in a new tweet, the company’s official Twitter handle hinted towards the fact that the Realme 3 might offer fast charging. As you can see, the small teaser video shows “Be Proactive” text lasts for only a few seconds. The highlighting of “Pro” towards the end of the clip suggests that the company could be teasing the arrival of the Pro variant of the Realme 3.

Yesterday, Realme’s competitor Xiaomi has launched its much-awaited Redmi Note 7 in India along with the Redmi Note 7 Pro. Both the Note 7 and Note 7 Pro come with 4000 mAh battery with Quick Charge 4 support via USB Type-C. It seems RealMe is set to challenge Xiaomi by launching the Realme 3 and Realme 3 Pro smartphones that support fast charging facility.
Considering, none of the Realme smartphones that are launched so far have support for fast charging, the company might launch RealMe 3 with fast charging support. Last year also the company’s CEO Madhav Sheth had hinted that an upcoming phone will feature Oppo’s proprietary VOOC fast charging.
Realme 3 Speculated Specifications
The Realme 3 is expected to come with a 6.2-inch display with a dewdrop notch, similar to the one seen on the Realme 2 Pro. Under the hood, the smartphone will be powered by the MediaTek Helio P70 SoC with at least 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage with a dedicated micro SD card slot for additional storage expansion. Just like the Realme 2 Pro, the Realme 3 will have a dual camera 16-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual camera set up along with a front-facing selfie camera. The Realme 3 will be exclusively available for buyers through Flipkart in India.
