Realme, the sub-brand of Oppo’s second smartphone Realme 2 is come up with another flash sale today at 12:00 PM on Flipkart. The smartphone is the upgrade over its Realme 1 which was launched last month by Oppo’s sub-brand Realme, which is being separated from the company. According to an update, the Realme is soon going to launch its pro version. The Realme 2 comes in two variants of 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage at Rs 8,990, and the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage for Rs 10,990.With such a price in India pits it against the likes of Redmi 6 Pro, Oppo A3s, Honor 7C, and Redmi Note 5.

Launch offers for Realme 2 include flat Rs. 750 discount on transactions made using HDFC Bank credit and debit cards, and 5 per cent discounts on purchases made using RBL Bank credit cards or Axis Bank Buzz debit card exclusively on Flipkart.
Jio users get Rs. 4,200 instant cashback in the form of vouchers, as well as 120GB complimentary data on recharges of Rs. 198 or Rs. 299. Buyers can also opt for device protection at Rs. 399, buyback guarantee of up to Rs. 4,000, and no-cost EMIs from Flipkart while purchasing the handset.

Talking about specifications, Realme 2 offers a unique back design with a reflective diamond cut pattern. According to Realme, the company has used 12 layers of nanoscale composite material on the phone’s body.
The phone comes with a 6.2-inch display with a notch on top and 19:9 aspect ratio. The company claims a screen to body ratio of 88.8 per cent. The device is armed with a Qualcomm’s Octa-core chipset Snapdragon 450. The handset includes a dedicated microSD card slot other than two Nano-SIM card slots. The storage can be expanded by up to 256GB.
Moving to optics, The phone features a dual camera setup with one 13-megapixel sensor and another 2-megapixel sensor. The secondary front facing camera comes with an 8-megapixel sensor which comes with Realme’s AI Beauty 2.0 Selfie Technology.
