The sub-brand of Oppo, RealMe is all set to launch a new smartphone named the Realme 2 Pro on September 27. Ahead of the official launch, the RealMe 2 has been leaked and even the CEO of RealMe Madhav Seth has revealed some information about the phone. Furthermore, popular YouTube channel PocketNow has shared the unboxing video of the upcoming RealMe2 on their Instagram handle and reveals metal and glass back.
The company, RealMe already sold over 1 million smartphones in India and during an interaction with a YouTuber, Realme’s CEO Madhav Seth has confirmed that upcoming RealMe 2 Pro will have the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset. So, the RealMe 2 will be the fifth device that sports Snapdragon 660 chipset.
Reale 2 Pro: Specifications and Features
According to the information revealed by the CEO and the Youtuber, the RealMe 2 will have a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display (2340 x 1080 pixels) with waterdrop notch and the CEO even hinted the phone would come in various storage configurations to meets the needs of consumers. Realme 2 Pro will have a taller display with a screen-to-body ratio of around 91 percent. The Realme 2 Pro will feature dual rear camera setup, with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and Face Unlock option, just like the previously launched RealMe 1 and realMe 2.
To recall, The Realme 1 was launched with a MediaTek Helio P60 chipset while the recently launched Realme 2 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC.
Further, the CEO even confirmed that the Realme 2 Pro will run on RealMe’s custom Color OS that is based on Android 8.1 Oreo and he also confirmed that the device will be updated to Android 9 Pie. Moreover, the CEO Madhav Seth also revealed that the Realme 2 Pro will be priced in the Rs 10,000 to Rs 20,000 price tag.
