Good news for users of Realme 2 Pro. The Sub-brand of Oppo confirmed that the RealMe 2 Pro will be receiving the Android 9.0 Pie update in 2019.
In response to users tweet, the Realme support handle confirmed that Realme 2 Pro will receive the Android Pie update soon. There is no word on the exact date of update roll out except 2019.
RealMe’ CEO Madhav Sheth recently announced that an OTA update will be released for Realme 2 Pro, which will introduce the slow motion video recording. The update is scheduled for the first quarter of 2019. He noted that they are considering the possibility of rolling out this feature on their other smartphones.
In the next report, Madhav Sheth said that the company will unlock the bootloader and release the source code Realme 1 early next year. To recall, bootloader unlock for Realme 2 Pro has already been confirmed by the company, recently.

Realme 2 Pro features a 6.3-inch FHD Full-Screen display and it is the first phone with the Dewdrop display. The RealMe 2 Pro will be available in three color variants: Ice Lake, Black Sea, and Blue Ocean. The device packs a 3500 mAh battery and runs ColorOS 5.1 OS based on the Android 8.1 Oreo.

The camera specifications include a f/1.7 aperture, 1/2.8-inch Sony IMX398 sensor, and a 1.12-micron pixel size. Up front, there is a 16MP camera that is powered by AI selfie.
The Realme 2 Pro comes with three variants – 4GB RAM 64GB storage, 6GB RAM 64GB storage, and 8GB RAM 128GB storage. The smartphone has a 3500mAh battery.
