The new Razer Phone 2 is all set to arrive on October 10. The company’s Razer Phone was launched at the November 2017 and earlier this week, the company confirmed that it was working on the successor to the Razer Phone, a gaming-centric smartphone.
As for now, there is no official name for the device and interestingly, the event invite mentions “Flagship // Gaming”. According to the invite, the official event will start at 8:00 AM IST.

Coming to the specifications of the Razer Phone 2, there is no official information from the company. But recently, Android Headlines leaked a new phone from Razer and according to their leaks the device is claimed to be the Razer Phone 2. As per the report, Razer Phone 2 will have an identical design to the original. Expecting a few minor cosmetic changes, Razer Phone 2 will feature the same 16:9 aspect ratio display and the same set of stereo speakers. Some reports also state that the Razer Phone 2 will feature a 120Hz display, a Snapdragon 845 processor, 8GB RAM, a 4,000mAh battery, and up to 512GB of internal storage.
There is no information about the price of the Razer Phone 2, while the predecessor Razer Phone was on sale for $699 / £699.99 / AU$1,099. To recall here are specifications of the Razer Phone.

The Razer Phone features a 5.72-inch IGZO LCD UltraMotion display with a resolution of 1440×2560 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. Further, the device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC, that is paired with 8GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. The phone comes with a memory slot to expand storage up to 2TB via microSD card.
Talking about the cameras, the Razer Phone holds two 12-megapixel camera sensors on the back with f/1.75 and f/2.6 aperture on each of the two, coupled with a dual-tone LED flash. Up front, there is an 8-megapixel fixed-focus camera sensor with f/2.0 aperture. The connectivity options of the phone include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.2, and NFC. There is a 4,000mAh battery under the hood with support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+.
