A new smartwatch called Kronos Beta has been launched by Portronics in India. It is the brand’s new affordable smartwatch that is claimed to offer a battery life of 7 days and features including real-time heart rate monitoring.

Priced at Rs 3,999, the Portronics Kronos Beta smartwatch is available in Black, Grey, and Rose Pink colours. Customers can order it from Portronics’ Website or other online sales channels.

Portronics Kronos Beta Smartwatch Specifications

The Kronos Beta by Portronics features a circular 1.28-inch TFT display. There are 100+ watch faces on the watch, and it is said to have 10 sports modes, including running, walking, hiking, and stair climbing, among others. The watch also provides continuous heart rate monitoring.

This smartwatch is IP58-rated and has a frame that is made of aluminum and polycarbonate. The 240mAh battery provides up to seven days of battery life. Supposedly, it takes approximately an hour to charge. It has Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity. With 512MB of internal storage, the smartwatch is also capable of storing 300 songs.

Portronics Kronos Beta will compete with recently launched Gionee GSW6, GSW8 smartwatches that support calling functionality from the watch itself. They feature dedicated Bluetooth for both calling and music.

Among the features of STYLFIT GSW6 are blood oxygen saturation monitoring, a heart rate monitor, sleep monitoring, a pedometer, a calorie counter, etc. Similar to the GSW6, the GSW8 features an inbuilt speaker. The watch has a microphone, so you can make calls with it. You can also control the music from the watch.
