| By DWR Editor

Xiaomi‘s sub-brand Poco introduced its Poco X3 and Poco X3 NFC devices more than a year ago. The Poco X4 series smartphones are expected to be launched soon by the company. The upcoming Poco X4 5G device has been spotted on the NBTC certification website with model number 2201116PG. The Indian variant of the phone has appeared on the Geekbench benchmark and BIS certification database with model number 2201116PI revealing some key features. The Poco X4 5G appears to be the rebranded Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G, introduced last week.

As per the listing, the device will come with an octa-core processor (codename veux) with a 2.21GHz peak frequency. Considering the codename, the Poco X-series handset looks like a rebranded Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G global version. Geeksbench scores also indicate the Poco X4 5G will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor coupled with Adreno 619 GPU.

According to the Geekbench 5 benchmark test, the Poco X4 5G scored 688 points in the single-core test and 2052 points in the multi-core test. Moreover, the listing confirms the device will have a 6GB RAM option. Nevertheless, we should expect the company to release it with multiple RAM and storage configurations. It will run Android 11 OS out of the box.
