Poco X3 India launch officially teased alongwith pricing

Poco India has hinted the Poco X3 smartphone launch in India. The POCO India General Manager C Manmohan has re-tweeted the Poco Global tweet with caption “#POCO India fans! Do you want us to launch it in India?”, via his official account on Twitter. This suggests that the Poco X3 launch is just around the corner. He even asked for retweets if fans want Poco X3 to launch in India.

The Poco X3 will be the successor to Poco X2 from earlier this year and could come with a price tag that falls in between Rs 15,000 to Rs 20,000. However, it is worth noting that C Manmohan’s tweet also suggested that the POCO X3 would be priced at Rs 20,000 + taxes in India.

To recall, Poco has unveiled the Poco X3 NFC yesterday through an event for €199 (approx. Rs. 14,620) for the base model with 6GB RAM and 64GB of storage and €249 (approx. 18,290) for 6GB RAM + 128GB storage.

Poco X3 NFC Specifications

Poco X3 NFC comes equipped a 6.9-inch FHD+ display with a 1200Hz refresh rate. The handset packs a 5160mAh battery which supports 33W fast charging that can charge up to 62% in 30 minutes and up to 100% in 65 minutes. It is powered by the Snapdragon 732G SoC with 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage.

There is a quad-rear camera setup on Poco X3 NFC with a 64MP Sony IMX682 sensor (f/1.89), an 13MP 119° ultra-wide sensor with 1.12μm, f/2.2 aperture, 2MP depth sensor and 2-megapixel 4cm macro sensor with 1.75μm, f/2.4 aperture. The hole-punch cut out on the front houses a 20MP primary sensor.

As the name suggests, the phone comes with NFC support for contactless payment. The phone features side-mounted fingerprint scanner that doubles up as a power button. It has an infrared sensor as well. The device is also IP53 certified for splash resistance.

Xiaomi has also added LiquidCool Technology 1.0 Plus that includes a copper heat pipe and a graphite sheet to reduce the temperature by up to 6° C. Connectivity features include IR Blaster, NFC, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
