According to reliable tipster Mukul Sharma, A Redmi G series laptop battery just passed certification by the Indian Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). Hence, the company may be planning to release its notebooks soon.
Based on the image shared by a tipster, the BIS database shows a Redmi G series laptop battery with the model number G16B01W. However, it bears a POCO branding. It is a 3,620mAh cell (15.2V, 55.02Wh) and was designed to be a replacement battery for the Redmi G and Redmi G Gaming laptops. There is a possibility that the company could also introduce a gaming laptop in the market.
In the event of a gaming laptop, we’re likely to see Intel or AMD Ryzen series processors alongside an NVIDIA or Radeon graphics card. At this point, these are just speculations, so you should take them with a grain of salt.
