Poco M4 Pro Launch in India Officially Confirmed for February 15

Poco is preparing to launch the Poco M4 Pro 5G in India. The company has announced that the M4 Pro 5G will launch in India on February 15. Poco revealed the launch date for the device on its social media accounts. According to the teaser, Poco M4 Pro 5G will be available in Power Black, Cool Blue (gradient back), and Poco Yellow color variants.

The upcoming Poco M4 Pro 5G is the rebranded version of the Redmi Note 11T 5G introduced in China. The teaser does not reveal any device specifications, but since it’s launched globally, we know the specs of the phone. 

The base variant of the Poco M4 Pro 5G is priced at €229 (approx Rs 19,600). It is likely that the device launches in India at a starting price of Rs 16,999 or Rs 17,999 for the base model, but nothing has been confirmed yet. According to reports, it will launch in India with two variants: 6GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB.

Poco M4 Pro 5G Specifications

Poco M4 Pro 5G boasts a 6.6-inch LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, DCI-P3 colour for a wider colour gamut, and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. 

It is powered by a 2.4GHz octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC, coupled with Mali G57 GPU, 6GB of RAM, virtual RAM of up to 8GB, and 64GB/128GB of USF 2.2 internal storage. Moreover, it is compatible with microSD cards up to 1TB. The Poco M4 Pro comes with a 5,000mAh battery and supports 33W fast charging. It takes 59 minutes to fully charge.

Poco M4 Pro 5G has two rear cameras, a 50MP primary camera, and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 119-degree FoV. On the front is a 16MP selfie camera. 

Poco M4 Pro is also water and dust resistant with its IP53 rating. The device comes preloaded with MIUI 12.5 skin based on Android 11. The device features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone jack, an X-axis linear motor, an IR blaster, NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and dual speakers.
