Poco M4 Pro 5G leaked online with MediaTek SoC

The Poco C31 smartphone was launched in India recently by Xiaomi’s sub-brand. A new Poco phone in the M series appears to be in the works, called the Poco M4 Pro 5G.

On Twitter, leakster Kacper Skrzypek shared images of the phone’s listing on several certification sites indicating its existence and imminent release globally.

There is no mention of any specifications for the Poco M4 Pro 5G smartphone in this leak. Although he did confirm that the phone would be powered by a MediaTek chip. According to a Chinese 3C listing, the phone will also support 33W fast charging.

Earlier, Poco C31 was introduced in India in two variants: 3GB RAM + 32GB storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage. The price of these models are Rs 8,499 and Rs 9,499, respectively. The phone can be purchased on Flipkart in Shadow Grey and Royal Blue colour variants.

Poco C31 Specifications

Poco C31 features a 6.53-inch HD + display with 720 * 1600 pixels resolution with a 20: 9 aspect ratio. The phone comes with an octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 SoC and up to 4GB of RAM and up to 64GB of storage. The storage is further expandable up to 512GB via a microSD card card slot.

In terms of the camera, it has a triple rear-facing camera setup with a 13-megapixel primary sensor with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, a 2-megapixel macro 4cm camera, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. It comes with a 5-megapixel selfie camera sensor with an f/2.2 lens at the front.

It ships with Android 10 based MIUI 12 skin. This phone comes with a 5,000mAh battery and supports 10W charging. In addition, there is a fingerprint sensor on the back.

In terms of connectivity, it offers dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5, WiFi, micro USB port, GPS and GLONASS, and a 3.5mm jack. It measures 164.9mm×77.1mm×9mm and weighs 194 grams.
