Poco M4 Pro 5G launched with Dimensity 810 SoC, 90Hz display

As a successor to the Poco M3 Pro 5G, Xiaomi‘s sub-brand Poco has announced the Poco M4 Pro 5G. Alongside, Poco unveiled a new “Moonlight Silver” color option for its flagship F3 smartphone. The Poco F3 will now be available in a new “Moonlight Silver” colour option. Aside from the color, all other features remain the same.

Poco M4 Pro 5G Price, Availability

The Poco M4 Pro is available in two configurations 一 6GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB. These variants are priced at €229 (approx. Rs 19,600) and €249 (approx. Rs 21,400), respectively. As part of the early bird offer, the device will cost €199 and €219 respectively.

You can choose from One Power Black, Cool Blue (gradient back), and Poco Yellow color options. Poco M4 Pro 5G will go on sale in Europe on November 11.

Poco M4 Pro 5G Specifications

Starting with the design, there is a cut-out on the front of the phone for the selfie camera. The phone’s back features a large camera setup and Poco branding. The phone appears to have four cameras, but it actually has a dual-camera setup.

The Poco M4 Pro 5G offers a 6.6-inch LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, DCI-P3 colour for a wider colour gamut, and a 240Hz touch sampling rate.

It is powered by a 2.4GHz octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC, which is based on a 6nm process. It is coupled with Mali G57 GPU, 6GBRAM, and 64GB/128GB USF 2.2 storage. Further, it has support for microSD cards up to 1TB. It also has a virtual RAM of up to 8GB. A 5,000 mAh battery powers the Poco M4 Pro, and it supports 33W fast charging 一 it takes 59 minutes to fully charge.

As for the camera, the Poco M4 Pro 5G comes with a 50MP primary camera and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 119-degree FoV on the back. The front of the phone has a 16MP selfie camera.

It’s also water- and dust resistant thanks to its IP53 rating. MIUI 12.5 is preinstalled on the phone and is based on Android 11. The device has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone jack, an X-axis linear motor, an IR blaster, NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and dual speakers.
