Chinese brand Poco launched its Poco M3 Pro 5G in India earlier this year. Basically, it was a rebranded Redmi Note 10T 5G. The Poco M3 Pro 5G was launched a few months ago, and its successor is rumored to be on its way.
Poco is expected to release the Poco M4 Pro 5G very soon. It is not known when the device will launch. In the past, the smartphone has visited numerous certification websites, indicating its launch soon. The M4 Pro 5G has been spotted on the Geekbench website recently.
The Poco M4 Pro 5G is expected to launch in November or December 2021. On Geekbench, the Chinese variant appeared and the listing revealed the key features of the upcoming smartphone from Xiaomi’s sub-brand. According to its model number 21091116AC, this is the Chinese version. There is said to be a global variant with the model number 21091116AG.
Based on the listing of the Chinese variant, the model features an MT6833P processor, which refers to the Dimensity 700 SoC. This is the same SoC that powers the M3 Pro 5G. According to Geekbench, the variant has 8GB of RAM. Also, Poco is likely to announce a 6GB variant of the handset.
The listing also indicates that the device boots Android 11 OS. In Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core tests, the phone scored 603 and 1779 respectively.
The phone has also been listed on TENAA with a 6.6-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a 1080 x 2400 resolution. It will be powered by a 4,900mAh battery. Moreover, XiaomiUI claims the phone will feature a 50MP wide-angle camera on the back in its triple-camera module. It will also have an ultrawide and tele-macro lens.
The device will launch in various colors including Orange, Red, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple, White, and Grey. Presently, no official announcement has been made regarding a launch date.
