Poco M2 Pro will be launched in India by the smartphone manufacturer on July 7 at 12 PM. General Manager of POCO India, C Manmohan and Poco India took to Twitter to announce the unveiling of a new Poco phone in India.
“For all those who were on the edge of their seat. It’s time to #FeelTheSurge with the #POCOM2Pro. Arriving on July 7th @ 12 PM.” the company teased from its official Twitter handle, revealing the phone name and the launch date.

Though the brand hasn’t revealed the details regarding specifications and price of the device, it confirmed that it will be sold in India exclusively through Flipkart.
Specific details of Poco M2 Pro are unclear at this point, though the company has hinted that the phone will feature a quad-camera setup on the rear, which is similar to what we have seen in Redmi Note 9 Pro Max.

Recently, an alleged Poco M2 Pro was listed in the RF exposure section of the Xiaomi India website with the model number M2001J2I. However, the listing only revealed the device’s SAR value of 1.6 W/kg. Except this information, the RF exposure page hasn’t revealed any other details of the phone. Going by the previous reports, Poco M2 Pro reportedly packs Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 720 SoC. The various certifications also confirmed that the device will have support for Bluetooth v5 and dual-band Wi-Fi.
