Xiaomi‘s sub brand Poco has confirmed the existence of the Poco M2 officially by announcing on social media handle’ that the brand will be launching the Poco M2 smartphone on September 8 in India.
As per the teaser, the phone will go on sale on Flipkart in India. Even though the company hasn’t revealed any specifications of the Poco M2, the teaser confirms that the device will feature a waterdrop notch. More answers will be revealed once the Poco M2 is launched in India on 8th September.

The Poco M2 may hit the Indian markets with a starting price of Rs 9,999. Yesterday, Poco stated that the recently launched Poco M2 Pro will be available for buyers through open sales instead of flash sales.
Well, whatever it is, we will know for sure on September 8.
Poco M2 Pro Specifications
To recall the specifications of the Poco M2 Pro, it features a 6.67-inch FHD+ display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on both front and back and also on the camera module. The display supports only 60Hz refresh rate.
It packs Snapdragon 720G SoC and comes in 4GB/6GB of RAM, 64GB/128GB expandable storage.
For photography, it has a quad rear camera setup including a 48-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor, a 5-megapixel macro and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The phone supports 4K video recording. There is a 16-megapixel shooter inside the front notch.
The phone houses a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and it also has a dedicated microSD card slot. Backed by a 5,000mAh battery, the device supports 33W fast charging. It runs Android 10 out of the box and it will receive Android 11 update soon.
